B&Q is to reopen 14 of its stores to trial social distancing measures put in place for dealing with the coronavirus outbreak.
The retailer said that "having watched other essential stores support social distancing measures" it decided to open its Paisley and West Thurrock branches this morning with more to follow.
Although B&Q stores have been closed since the end of March, customers have been able to buy items through the Click&Collect services.
But now the retailer said it is now in position to "follow best practice" on hygiene and social distancing measures in order to keep its staff and customers safe.
