Dad builds staffie a dog house during lockdown – and it cost him nothing

It’s not just us humans who need a little pampering to get through the coronavirus lockdown – our pooches are feeling the effects too.

Whether they’re getting fewer walks or outdoor time, dogs are sure to be confused about why we’re suddenly home all the time.

They may even feel the need for some space and alone time. Ben Ware-Barnes, 41, from Cheshire, decided to give his pup just that, and built her a brand new dog house so she could chill out alone.

The kennel for his gorgeous Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Pixie, was also entirely free as Ben recycled old items – including a dining table – to put the house together.
