HMP Barlinnie have tested positive for coronavirus. Prison bosses today confirmed the cons, who are situated in 'A' Hall of the Glasgow jail, are now self isolating after contracting the virus.
Investigations are underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the positive cases.Visiting inmates at the infected wing has been suspended until October 20th.Bosses claim the other prison wings are unaffected at the moment.'A' Hall is the admission Hall for Barlinnie.It houses convicted adult short-term prisoners and adult remand prisoners.
