U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s fiancee Carrie Symonds has given birth to a baby boy. Britain’s leader, who recently recovered from a severe case of the Covid-19 virus, announced the birth of a “healthy baby boy” in a statement on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for Number 10 Downing Street said: “The Prime Minister and Ms. Symonds are thrilled to announce the birth of a healthy baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning.
Both mother and baby are doing very well. The PM and Ms. Symonds would like to thank the fantastic NHS maternity team.” The politician has been in a relationship with 32-year-old Symonds, an environmental campaigner and former political official for the Conservative Party, of which Johnson is leader, since late 2018.
