Carrie Symonds has welcomed her first child with fiancée Boris Johnson and the new mum and her baby son are said to be doing well.
The Prime Minister was at Carrie's side as she gave birth in a London hospital earlier today. A spokesman for the couple said: "The spokeswoman said: "The Prime Minister and Ms Symonds are thrilled to announce the birth of a healthy baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning.
Both mother and baby are doing very well. "The PM and Ms Symonds would like to thank the fantastic NHS maternity team." Their happy news comes after a fraught month for the couple as the county battles the coronavirus pandemic.
