A blind Brit is stuck on his own in Lanzarote due to the coronavirus pandemic and is now running out of vital medication, he claims.
Due to flights being grounded in an attempt to curb the spread of the killer bug, Willie Tanner, from Dundee, has been left trapped on the Canary Island.
Mr Tanner flew out on March 3 having booked a three-week holiday, but due to the outbreak has been told the earliest he can come home is at least a month.
The 62-year-old is registered blind and can only make out blurry shapes within 50 yards due to a brain aneurysm. He takes a dozen tablets each day to avoid another aneurysm and with the meds running desperately low, he has been forced to cut his dosage in half.
