Captain Tom Moore's 100th birthday party has had to be paused due to social distancing rules amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Tom had reportedly planned a day of "fun and fizz" to mark his milestone birthday prior to the epidemic and he was wanting to erect a marquee in the garden of his home and to treat his guest to a hog roast and a vintage entertainer but the celebrations have had to be cancelled until post-Covid 19.

But when life resumes to normality the WW2 veteran - who has become a national treasure after raising a whopping £33 million for NHS charities after walking 100 laps of his garden before his centennial birthday - will be hosting the epic bash and the guestlist will boast Britian's Got Talent stars as well as his nearest
