BBC Breakfast viewers weren't impressed after Michael Ball a visited Captain Tom Moore this morning, amid the nationwide coronavirus lockdown.

Captain Tom, 100, has captured the nation's hearts after raising £33million for the NHS during the lockdown. The war veteran also reached the number one spot on the UK chat after teaming up with Ball, 57, on their version of You'll Never Walk Alone.

This morning's BBC Breakfast saw Michael finally meet captain Tom - but viewers weren't pleased with the decision. Despite the pair seeming to social distance, furious viewers went online share their concerns for the 100-year-old veteran, who is considered to be 'at risk' of catching the virus, given his age.
