Joan Collins says she is hoping to be a centenarian – just like her inspiration Captain Tom Moore. The actress, 86, said the fundraising hero, whose NHS appeal topped £32million as he turned 100 last Thursday, is “pretty amazing”.
She went on to discuss that age is just a number, and most of the time, people make too much of a big deal out of it. Joan insisted: "People make too much fuss about age, which is just a number. "I think there’s a big difference between biological age and the age you’re supposed to be".
She said of husband Percy Gibson, 55: “As you know, he is somewhat younger than me. "At first people would always say, ‘What are you going to do about the age difference?’ Before adding: "I’d say, ‘Well, if he dies he dies".
