A Castle Douglas family went the extra mile on Father’s Day to raise funds for MND Scotland.And the McGaw kids have pulled in more than £2000 for the motor neuron disease charity.Their dad John, who is self-isolating, was diagnosed with the life-limiting condition in 2015.The family joined hundreds of others for MND Scotland’s Fun Run Relay event on Sunday.John, whose MND has affected his ability to walk, encouraged Liam, 15, Aillie, 12, and nine-year-old Blaine, towards their 10k target.He said: “I am so proud of my kids, not only doing this but how they cope day to day with my MND.“Doing it raises awareness that they are affected by MND too, not just me.”Liam said: “This is the first time we’ve felt able to try raise money for MND.“It’s.
