Super League’s season has been dealt a fresh blow after three unnamed players and one staff member at Catalans Dragons tested positive for Covid-19.
The news comes in the wake of a total of 12 positive tests at Hull FC earlier this month, which caused the postponement of two matches.
The Dragons’ planned game with Wigan on Saturday has now been postponed, with Castleford - the team due to have a bye this weekend - taking their place.
Catalans’ opponents on Sunday, Wakefield, have two players that now have to follow track and trace guidelines, but their fixture against Warrington Wolves on Sunday is expected to go ahead.
