Thousands of Scots have paid tribute to NHS staff and key workers for helping to keep the country running during the coronavirus pandemic.
People across Scotland took to their windows, doorsteps, gardens and balconies for a second time since the lockdown to thank those fighting the deadly virus. 'Clap for our Carers' took place at 8pm throughout the United Kingdom to pay a special thanks to health workers but also to those classed as key workers.
It comes after a similar tribute was paid last week. As Scots took to their doorsteps bagpipers across Scotland blasted out tunes to pay tribute to key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.'Pipe Up!
