Coronavirus: Brit 'nurse dies at hospital after taking overdose'

A nurse who worked at a hospital battling the coronavirus outbreak has died after a suspected overdose, according to reports.

Met Police confirmed they were called to a hospital in south London where a woman was found unresponsive. The woman, in her 20s, was treated and later died in hospital on Monday.

According to the Daily Mail, she was understood to have been a nurse working in an intensive care unit (ICU) at King's College Hospital.

At the hospital, eight patients have died of coronavirus. But it is not know if she was treating any COVID-19 patients. The paper reports that she is suspected to have taken her own life after taking an overdose.
