Local business owners have come together to launch a campaign to extend the Ibiza summer season to November so coronavirus-hit holidaymakers don't miss out and to boost the economy following the COVID-19 outbreak.

The peak season in the Spanish region of the Balearic Islands usually starts in May and local businesses have launched the ‘MoveYourSpring’ campaign in a bed to extend the season until November.

According to reports, several key events have already been confirmed for October and businesses hope that the summer season, which normally finishes in September, will be extended.
