BALTIMORE - The number of people infected with the novel coronavirus across the world surpassed 2.5 million on April 21, according to the most recent data collected by Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center.

Doctors have stressed that most people who test positive for COVID-19 will recover from the disease. As of April 20, more than 659,000 people have recovered across the globe, according to Johns Hopkins’ data.
