Coronavirus has been responsible for 37 deaths in South Lanarkshire's care homes.Figures released by the National Records of Scotland revealed that 103 people in South Lanarkshire have died as a result of the virus - 36 per cent of which were in a care home.Just under half of all deaths (51) occurred in the region's hospitals while 15 residents died at home from COVID-19.More than 10 per cent of the 348 care home deaths in South Lanarkshire this year have been related to COVID-19.In neighbouring North Lanarkshire, less people as a percentage (29 per cent) have died in a care home from coronavirus.A total of 125 deaths in the region have been linked to COVID-19 with 37 of these occurring in a care home.North Lanarkshire also saw 73 residents
