A charity gave out 250 hog roast sandwiches to staff at an NHS hospital to say 'thank you' for their hard work battling the coronavirus pandemic.
Employees at the Hull Royal Infirmary were given the lunchtime treat by a couple who had been forced to cancel their wedding at the last minute due to the outbreak.
But rather than claiming a refund, the couple told their caterer and Royal navy veteran Tony Norrie to donate the food to the charity.
Charity founder Paul Matson and a few others set up a food van outside Hull Royal dishing up hog roast sandwiches to hungry NHS workers.
