A FIFA document sent to the organisation’s Coronavirus Working Group has called for players and coaches’ contracts to be extended until the end of the delayed football season.
The confidential document also recommends allowing transfer windows to be changed to be in line with new season dates and urges clubs and players to work together to find solutions to salary payments during stoppages, according to Reuters.
The document is due to be discussed by members of the Coronavirus Working Group later on Thursday, while FIFA is yet to make an official decision on the issues.
