All Brits currently travelling abroad have been urged to return to the UK while flights are still running. Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab told tourists and short-stay travellers to take the opportunity to come home while they still could.
It follows unprecedented government advice last week against all but essential international travel, initially for a period of 30 days.
Government has changed its advice in response to the closure of borders, airlines suspending flights, airports closing, exit bans and further restrictions being introduced daily.
