Up to a million Brits may be stranded abroad by the coronavirus outbreak and it will be an “epic challenge” to get them all home or make sure they’re safe.
The Foreign Secretary warned that some of those still abroad may have to decide whether it’s safer to stay put “for a period” before travelling home.
Dominic Raab said that British consular networks were working hard to help those stuck and to provide as much information as possible.
The Government has faced some criticism for suggesting it would be impossible to provide repatriation flights for all those still abroad.
