A healthy UK teen diagnosed with coronavirus has shared his symptoms diary to show other youngsters they must take the pandemic seriously.

The teenager from Oldham, Greater Manchester, was rushed to hospital by paramedics after falling severely ill with Covid-19 symtpoms.

The teen, who has no underlying health conditions, was in and out of Royal Oldham Hospital over a period of six days as he battled the virus.

The teen, who asked not to be named, wants to thank the medical staff for the fantastic care he received. But he also wants to warn young people to not be complacent - as they may not suffer mild symptoms.
