The number of coronavirus hospital deaths in England have risen by 369 ahead of a press conference given by the Prime Minister.
Scotland has recorded 38 more deaths, and another 8 coronavirus patients have lost their lives in Northern Ireland. Wales is yet to update its figures.
The data comes as the Prime Minister is expected to address the nation about Christmas from No10 at 3.30pm alongside England's Chief Medical Officer Professor Chris Whitty.
Last Wednesday, December 9, there were a further 426 deaths in hospital. The previous Wednesday, December 2, another 648 deaths of coronavirus patients were recorded.
