Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Kirstie Allsopp has revealed she has coronavirus after slamming Piers Morgan for "catastrophising and dramatising" the illness.

The Location Location Location presenter appeared on Good Morning Britain this morning, and said her husband has tested positive for the virus.

Kirstie, 48, has not been tested, but has been living in close proximity to her husband Ben, and has felt a tightness in her chest.

She told hosts Piers, 54, and Lorraine Kelly, 60: "I don't know and I won't know [if I've got it] because tests aren't available. "My husband got a test because of complications with my son's health, he was taking him to the doctor. "This is the point that needs to be made really clear, people might have it and not know they've got it.
