Sharing a giddy image of himself posing outside 10 Downing Street, the Prime Minister’s official residence, alongside Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid, it was clear Piers was keen to step up.
He simply wrote: ‘I’m ready to serve.’ Funnily enough fans were all for the presenter’s ploy for the gig, as one riffed on Piers’s mate Donald Trump’s catch-cry and wrote: ‘Make Britian Great Again!
