Piers Morgan has been tipped for knighthood thanks to his recent outspoken views on coronavirus. The Good Morning Britain presenter earned plenty of support for his insistence that NHS workers shouldn’t have to pay parking fines and his criticism of Boris Johnson’s vague lockdown laws.

And it looks like Piers’ outbursts have endeared him to the British public. The 54-year-old’s odds of being knighted by the end of 2025 went from 200/1 to 25/1 on Thursday, BoyleSports revealed.

Fans of the TV personality also fancy Morgan’s chances at moving into Number 10, with odds of him becoming the Prime Minister in the future slashed in half from 500/1 into 250/1.
