Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan and Kirstie Allsopp have descended into a nasty online argument, just a day after they battled it out over NHS parking amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Yesterday the pair got into a heated debate about what it means to be an essential worker, with Piers slamming builders being considered essential in this times of crisis.

However it seemed they were on good terms when Kirstie offered to go Piers half in paying any parking fines NHS staff were slapped with during the Covid-19 crisis.

That all seems to be forgotten, with the pair now at one another again after Piers told the presenter she should be focusing on the problems the NHS is facing and not the trolls, after she called out publications over false stories about her living
