Coronavirus outbreak: New COVID-19 cases fall to single digits in South Korea

South Korea extended its social distancing policies for another 16 days on Sunday, but offered some relief to churches and sporting fixtures as it reported just eight new cases of COVID-19 – the lowest level in two months.

The country largely managed to bring its outbreak under control, with authorities saying they are now looking to find a “middle ground” for physical distancing practices.
