Coronavirus in Scotland: 1231 die from virus as confirmed cases hit 10,051

A total of 1,231 people have now died of coronavirus in Scotland – an increase of 47 deaths from Friday. The number of positive confirmed cases of Covid-19 have risen to 10,051, which is up by 354.

There are 131 Scots with coronavirus currently in intensive care units and confirmed or suspected cases in hospital are now 1,748.

The latest stats were provided by the Scottish Government this afternoon.
