Coronavirus: Police step in to guard supermarkets from greedy panic-buying shoppers

Brit cops are manning supermarkets as selfish shoppers' panic-buying threaten to spark brawls amid the coronavirus crisis. As the greedy panic buyers ransack shelves the elderly and needy are left without the essentials they need.

Reports came in yesterday of younger shoppers sneaking in to supermarkets during so-called 'silver hours' - time which has been especially set aside for older shoppers amid the Covd-19 outbreak.

They were said to have barged past the OAPs to get to vital supplies on the shelves. Meanwhile shoppers have said police are also guarding deliveries to supermarkets.
