An expert reveals coronavirus can live for up to 24 hours on delivered packages – advising shoppers to either disinfect packages as soon as they receive them, or to avoid touching them for a whole day.
Dr John Torres says COVID-19 can live on surfaces for various lengths of time, the bug can also stay in the air for a couple of hours.
On the Today show, Dr Torres advised how shoppers should take precaution when receiving deliveries from any company. He said: "Anywhere from copper around four hours to stainless steel and plastic two-three days.
