A growing number of doctors are claiming brave coronavirus survivors could face years of health complications after they beat the disease.

Data gathered by UK researchers suggests initial Covid-19 symptoms last much longer than the official two-week period and could be felt for over 30 days.

For other patients, the disease itself may be the stat of a long, hard battle, with one medical report warning of a post-Covid disability threat.

Long-lasting complications could include fatigue, lung and heart damage, strokes, and even brain damage. It comes as the doctor who treated Boris Johnson labelled coronavirus as the "new Polio," a disease which killed millions worldwide.
