London's Tube was packed during the morning rush hour as people returned to work on the first day of Prime Minister Boris Johnson'scoronavirus lockdown rule change.
Addressing the nation on Sunday, the Prime Minister said he was "actively encouraging" people in industries such as construction and manufacturing to return to work.
The Prime Minister's "road-map" setting out the path out of lockdown, now allows people in England to go back to work "if it is safe to do so".
But the change prompted fears that commuters and workplaces would struggle to maintain social distancing guidelines. And unions said the packed carriages this morning showed how workers returning is "fraught with danger".
