Jason Manford has been put on blast by fellow parents for advising them to play a "cruel" April Fool's Day coronavirus prank on his children.
The father-of-six yesterday tweeted what he thought was a hilarious joke idea, but was met with some harsh critics in the replies section.
The comic shared a snap of an edited news screenshot which shows Boris Johnson with a breaking news tag that read: "Schools to reopen tomorrow." Tweeting the picture out to his 317k followers, he wrote: "It's April Fools Day tomorrow, if you wanted to use this on your children I'm not stopping you!" Soon after he released his tweet into the world, some parents seemed to have missed the joke.
