Care home residents and carers will be first to get the new coronavirus vaccine - the first in the world to be cleared for clinical use.
The Joint Committee on Vaccinations and Immunisation (JCVI) updated the list of priorities today, after the vaccinne was approved by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Authority (MHRA).
First in line will be care home residents and carers, followed by people over 80 and frontline health and care workers. Next will be the over 75s, followed by the over 70s and the extremely clinically vulnerable.
