COVID-19: Poll finds business sentiment is improving

optimism regarding future growth prospects has been improving since June, after being low during the early days of the pandemic.

The business optimism levels improved to 61.4% during the three months between June and August, compared to 45.3% witnessed between March and May.

Respondents who were pessimistic about their future growth prospects reduced to 24.11%, on an average, during the three-month period from June to August, from 32.74% during the March to May period.On average, 52.37% of the respondents expressed optimism over the six months between March and August, while 28.42% of the respondents were pessimistic.
