A Raploch man suffering from motor neurone disease (MND) was left on his floor overnight for twelve hours after a fall, sparking concerns over a lack of emergency care.Richard Barrett, a former self-employed painter and decorator, was diagnosed with the terminal illness in early 2019.The 50–year–old is cared for by his brother, Dean (48), who previously served in the armed forces.In February this year, Dean reached out to MND Scotland’s specialist advocacy team, who had previously helped secure an accessible home for Richard.
