The coronavirus pandemic has forced Juventus to reduce the wages they are paying players and coaches, meaning Cristiano Ronaldo and co.
have taken a pay cut. The Serie A giants have been hit hard by Covid-19, with three of their players testing positive for the disease - Daniele Rugani, Blaise Matuidi and Paulo Dybala.
The Italian league has now been out of action since March 9, with players placed in isolation for much of that period. And with no football taking place, Juventus have come to the difficult decision to lower the wages of their players and coaching staff for the next three months.
The season is expected to be finished though, and the club acknowledged in a statement that they will retrospectively reward those affected.
