A DJ has raised more than £25,000 for vulnerable people and key workers through lockdown quizzes, driveway discos and a VE Day bike ride.
Jon Hindley - aka Jonny Spangles - donned a World War Two uniform and took to the streets on a four-wheeled bike, blasting music through speakers on VE Day.
He was joined by his children Ben, 20, Lucy, 18 and Maisie, 10, on his trip around Flixton, Urmston and Davyhulme. Jonny - who runs Unit One Entertainment - has managed to raise thousands of pounds for key workers and vulnerable people during the coronavirus lockdown. “I just didn’t expect it - it’s been phenomenal,” he says.
