Daniel O'Donnell warns fans of Covid-19 fundraiser scams impersonating him

Daniel O'Donnell has slammed bogus collectors for pretending to be him and collecting money for the fight against coronavirus.

A spokesperson for the singer's Facebook account hit out at those behind fake accounts. The message said they are aware of a number of scams on social media asking people to donate money.

It is understood that unsuspecting fans have already donated to the accounts not realising they are bogus. The spokesperson said Daniel will never ask for money for any charity through his personal online forums.
