Belgian body-popper Dimitri van den Bergh says he is “living the lockdown dream” as world champion Peter Wright's house guest.

Double world youth champion Van den Bergh, whose walk-on dance routines always a hit with fans, has been staying at 'Snakebite' Wright's family home in Suffolk since the pandemic sent sport into hibernation.

But he has been helping out in the chicken coop, collecting eggs and studying Wright's collection of more than 300 darts – all of which he has used in competitive matchplay.

Van den Bergh goes up against Gary Anderson in the PDC Home Tour series on Saturday fortified by hours of practice with the reigning king of Alexandra Palace.
