NEW DELHI : Delhi Covid-19 cases have surged almost 500% in the past 15 days, according to a report by PTI.
Covid-19 positivity rate in the national capital breached 5% on Saturday as the city logged over 400 new cases in a day. Students in private and government schools in Delhi along with teachers have also tested positive for Covid-19, right after schools started offline classes for all.
This has sparked concern among parents as two deaths related to COvid-19 were also reported from the city yesterday. Schools have sprung into action by taking up measures to curb the spread of Covid-19.
Reportedly, schools across Delhi-NCR are taking various measures, including frequent sanitisation, to restrict the spread of the virus to a minimum and thus avoid shutdown of the campus.
