Dept of Health reports 12,208 cases of Covid over weekend

The Department of Health has reported 12,208 cases of Covid-19 since Friday. The HSE no longer issues Covid figures over the weekend.

Instead, they are issued on a Monday for the previous days. The Health Protection Surveillance Centre was notified today of 1,715 PCR-confirmed cases of Covid-19.

In addition, yesterday 2,049 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal. Yesterday, the HPSC was notified of 1,442 PCR-confirmed cases.

1,725 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal the previous day. On Saturday, the HPSC was notified of 2,756 PCR-confirmed cases.
