Will Mellor opened up on Loose Women about the heartache of losing his father during lockdown. Bill died in April - two weeks after he was rushed to hospital following a seizure.
Will, from Bredbury, told the ITV programme that after his dad was admitted, they found a cancer on his lung which had spread to his brain.
The Two Pints star says it made such a tough time “even harder” because his family could not grieve together due to the coronavirus social distancing rules.
He told the panel: “It just ripped us apart. Especially in these circumstances. “It’s never a good time to lose someone like that in your life but in these circumstances I couldn’t even go and hug my mum. “I had to go up there and stand on my own breaking down in the corner
