Domestic abuse survivor shares harrowing pictures after ex spared jail despite third attack

A mum brutally battered by her thug ex whilst her young son slept close by has spoken out. Vile Samuel Johnson, 34, was spared immediate jail despite being found guilty of actual bodily harm - for the third time.

His traumatised victim has now spoken of her ordeal, saying she still suffers flashbacks of the moment Johnson strangled her until she lost unconsciousness on the kitchen floor.

Speaking from police protection, the 41-year-old brave mum told  Birmingham Mail : "He came behind me and threw me on the floor.

He picked me up by my throat and suffocated me until I passed out. I woke up from the kitchen into the living room to him beating up me and my dog."The dog was trying to protect me, he was punching my head and punching the dog,
