Dr Hilary Jones wore a rainbow bowtie in a touching tribute to the NHS on Good Morning Britain today. The TV doctor, who has been highly praised by viewers for his advice and support during the coronavirus pandemic, appeared on the ITV programme sporting the very colourful accessory.
Host Lorraine Kelly immediately noticed it and pointed it out: "Your rainbow bowtie is clearly an image of the nation." The pair went on to discuss that there were "real" rainbows last night. "There's just something about that that makes you feel better," she said. "We were out applauding the NHS and all the frontline workers." "Absolutely," Dr Hilary replied. "We want that pot of gold at the end of that rainbow, we want that hope, we want that optimism.
