Dr Hilary Jones has issued a warning ahead of children potentially returning to school and has urged a "very careful" phased approach.
The TV doctor appeared on Good Morning Britain today alongside former Education Secretary Damian Hinds, a headteacher Paul Mundy-Castle and concerned parent Harriet.
Both MP Damian Hinds and headteacher Mundy-Castle warned that there could be "knock-on effects" of introducing schools too quickly and that the "balance should be right".
Presenter Ranvir Singh pointed out that there could be some time before there is a consensus on a number of things, including whether young children carry the virus.
