The EFL’s latest statement on their plans to see out the Championship with promotion and relegation were released this week – but this will have an impact on Manchester United and Arsenal’s transfer windows.
English football’s second tier is set to be resumed with promotion and relegation included as Leeds and West Brom battle it out for the title as well as a tight play-off race.
But this means bad news for the teams at the bottom of the Premier League, who will have to make way for the Championship’s top sides.
This currently includes Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Norwich City while Watford and West Ham could still get dragged in. Arsenal and Manchester United, though, could swoop on the opportunity to attract some of those club’s best
