The Premier League is significantly closer to returning after the government gave the green light for the game to come back behind closed doors.
Oliver Dowden, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, confirmed on Saturday that elite sport in the country can return providing strict guidelines are adhered to.
These include everyone at the event travelling individually and also being screened for coronavirus symptoms, as well as a number of other requirements.
The decision by the government paves the way for the Premier League to return on June 17, with Manchester City vs Arsenal pencilled in as one of the first games to be played.
