Electric Picnic cancelled due to Covid-19

The organisers of this year's Electric Picnic festival have cancelled the event due to concerns around Covid-19. The group said cancelling the festival had become "unavoidable", and they fully support the Government’s measures to tackle the spread of the virus.
In a statement, they said while they are disappointed, they have a responsibility to their fans, artists, crews, suppliers and sponsors.
Those who had bought tickets to this year’s event can avail of a refund from Ticketmaster, or their original point of purchase.
The group has also said that for those who prefer not to avail of a refund, their ticket can be retained and carried over for use at next year’s event.
