Elite is back for one last season! Netflix has revealed that the eighth and final season of the platform’s longest-running Spanish scripted series is set July 26.
According to Netflix, “Las Encinas will open its doors one last time in a new 8 episode season full of secrets, rivalries, corruption, and excess in the purest Élite style.” The show, which has been airing since 2018, is set in a fictional high school, and follows the relationships among three working-class students enrolled at the elite school through a scholarship program and their wealthy classmates.
Here’s a plot summary for Season 8, via Deadline: “In Season 8, the arrival of siblings Emilia and Héctor Krawietz, leaders of Las Encinas alumni association, shake the school foundations.
Influential, powerful, corrupt and corrupters, the Krawietz will scatter chaos wherever they go and will destroy the lives of those who fall prey to them.
